CTL Strengthens its Technology Solutions Team

CrowdToLive® (CTL), a property FinTech Company that connects home buyers and investors by offering financing opportunities and equity investment through shared ownership, announced the appointment of Mr. James Lawson as the  Chief Technology Officer (CTO) based in the headquarters in London.  

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Anouar Adham, Co-Founder and CEO of CTL, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to welcome James to our team. His experience and knowledge in financial services as well as in IT will strengthen our capabilities in offering innovative financial solutions through our CrowdToLive® FCA regulated online platform.”

Mr. Lawson has over 20 years of experience developing and leading technology solutions. He has led Oakbrook Finance to the top of the Hiscox TechTrack 100 for two consecutive years. He began his career as a C++ Software Engineer at Siemens and was involved in the Agile transformation alongside Roman Pichler. Later he specialized in SaaS/PaaS solutions in the national infrastructure domain (NHS, energy metering, nuclear and border security). He recently earned his master’s degree in Requirements Analysis and has become a thought leader in the Software Engineering community. 

Mr. Lawson appointment complements CTL strategic direction to keep improving its technology stack to offer its users the best possible digital experience on the platform.  

CTL is regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and was established in 2016. It has been part of various programs such as Virgin Start Up, Barclays Eagle Labs, London & Partner Accelerator, Qatar Fintech Hub and Natwest Growth programme.
